Task 1 • Computer Vision

Face Mask Image Collection

Collect 20 high-quality facial images wearing mask protection to train facial recognition and occlusion AI algorithms across various angles and lighting.

  • Volume Required: 20 images total (10 images with Mask Type 1 + 10 images with Mask Type 2).
  • Accepted Mask Types: Surgical Mask, Cloth Mask, N95, FFP2 / FFP3 (2 different types or same type in 2 distinct colors).
  • Capture Rules: 10 distinct face angles, varied indoor/outdoor backgrounds, non-selfies, nose fully covered.
  • Age Requirement: 18+ years old (18-30, 30-50, 50+). Male & Female.

Task 2 • Temporal Biometrics

Age Progression Image Collection

Upload 15 historical clear facial photos spanning over a continuous 5-year period to train AI temporal age-estimation systems.

  • Volume Required: 15 clear solo photos spanning 5 years.
  • Timeline Rule: Minimum 1-month gap between photos. Must show natural age progression (hair, beard, weight shifts).
  • File Integrity: Original camera files required (JPEG for iPhone, PNG/JPEG for Android). Min resolution >= 320x240px with face height >= 240px.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 23 years old (23-30, 30-50, 50+), ensuring oldest photos (5 yrs ago) were taken at 18+.

Technical Guidelines & Do's & Don'ts

iPhone / iOS Photo Settings

Go to Settings > Camera > Formats and select Most Compatible (JPEG format). Photos taken in the last 3 years must be uploaded as unmodified original camera files via Google Drive, AirDrop, or iCloud (Unmodified Original).

Android Photo Settings

Photos must be captured in standard PNG or JPEG. Transfer files via Google Drive or Quick Share (ensure "Remove location data" is NOT toggled off). Do not use compressed chat apps.

Unaccepted Photos (Strict Disqualifiers)
  • No selfies (photos must be taken by someone else or on tripod).
  • No beauty filters, AI-generated images, or web downloads.
  • No WhatsApp / Telegram / Messenger compressed images.
  • No screenshots or social media downloads (Facebook, Instagram).
  • No group photos, blurry images, or extreme dark environments.
